Savvy Video Gear
Welcome. I’m so excited to help you create a Savvy Screen Space. These are just a few of the items I’ve purchased to help me create video content.

RGB LED Lights (2 pack)
I love these because they offer flexibility. Clear lights for when you need to create a fill light or an additional source for a key light and colors to create background lighting accents.

LIGHT BOXes/soft boxES
You can also use umbrellas or newer innovative lighting. This is similar to the kit I purchased several years ago. However, this particular kit does NOT have a head and shoulder (overhead) light.

TRIPODS
Having an extra tripod is a must. You never know when your equipment may have a malfunction.

TRAVEL TRIPOD
This tripod also doubles as a selfie stick and it easily folds up and has a carrying bag.

WEBCAM
Consider using a webcam as a second camera angle. Plus, it’s an instant upgrade for most laptop’s webcams.

DSLR CAMERA
Since the camera I use has been discontinued, this is a excellent option if you want a DSLR. It is a 15 piece kit which offers great value. And guess what? It even takes pictures. Just kidding.

usb/xlr MICROPHONE
I really like this USB microphone because it offers an XLR cable that is available when it’s time to upgrade. It comes with a USB cable and an XLR cable for flexibility.

LAVALIER MICROPHONE
This is a great way to make your microphone less visible on video. Think about some of the ways you can make it disappear.

LAPTOP RISER
If your laptop will be shown on video, a clear riser can provide a more aesthetic visual.

GREEN SCREEN (AND BLUE)
This 5×7 green screen serves double duty, blue on one side, green on the other. Use it in front of your slides or when you’re making tutorials. It unfolds in a split second from a nice flat circle, but it may take some practice to get it folded back up.
